Environmental Science Degree - University of Aberdeen - Aberdeen

I have undertaken courses in the schools of biology and geography - providing me with a broad range of topics and skills to set me up well for future employment. The courses have included outdoor fieldwork along with studies in ecosystems, geology, ecology, conservation and management solutions. My colleagues and I have regularly been tasked with report writing for both labs and surveys - teaching me to be accountable to myself and diligent in my research and output.

Assessments have included individual essays to group based projects and presentations, with high exposure to using Microsoft programs - using communication and teamwork skills to achieve the best outcome, with calling for support when required. The end of 2024 saw me complete my dissertation. I looked into 'vertical air pollution in the city centre of Aberdeen'.

I spent 4 weeks collecting real-time data in the field, with the rest of the time analysing my dataset on RStudio and Minitab and researching the topic.
