Management of SHEQ in a single-site facility of around 185 workers, which specialises in the manufacture, storage and distribution of steel merchant bar. Manufacturing operations included the hot rolling of various sections of steel merchant bar, from steel billets, following heat soaking in COG powered furnaces. Multi-building site (2 rolling mills, warehouse, test house, offices and engineering workshops) contained within the Scunthorpe integrated steelworks (COMAH site).
- Upgraded existing EMS to achieve ISO 14001:2015 compliance, and then achieved successful transition into ISO 14001:2015 certification.
- Creation of a fully Integrated Management System (incorporated existing QMS, new EMS and new ISO 45001 compliant H&S-MS into a single integrated business management system).
