My current role is a housekeeping porter. I fulfil guest requests on demand whilst working in a team. I am responsible for quality checking the linen and making sure each floor in the hotel is always filled with the essential stock such as towels, linen, water, etc., to promote a smooth shift.
It is a requirement for me to use my key skills, such as good communication, as this is a major part of my role within my team. I often work alone, and the main way of communicating between my team and manager would be via the work radio; therefore, I have to be precise and have good listening skills.

My main role was to manage a team of 4; it was my responsibility to make sure the task was completed in a timely manner.
