I am deeply passionate person, I love music and making music in any genre, I play the guitar and sing. I follow football as I played it in my teen years, I sometimes still do. I recently achieved a Merit in Music Production and Performance, which I am very proud of myself for getting as it was mainly self taught during the lockdowns of 2020/2021. I have an autistic brother who I care for and help on a regular basis, and support him and my family as best I can.

Working here gave me so much experience that I have taken into my life. It gave me confidence. As I was there for so long my employer entrusted me with more responsibilities such as key holder, end of day banking, cashing up and ordering stock from local suppliers also training new employees.

Working in this establishment, gave me confidence in crowd control, working under pressure as it got very busy especially on the weekends. It taught me the importance of team work as it was long hours and late at night going into the early hours of the morning and the very loud music, so looking out for one another was a given.

Barista at Tom Foolery Artisan Cafe (2022-02 – 2022-06)

This small tucked away cafe showed me how to work in a community as this place had a lot of regulars. I learnt how to make different types of coffees for example a macchiato and cappuccino. I was a sous chef a couple times a week, helping when it was busy to keep up with the orders.

During my time at the Downs, I had experience in working behind the bar and table service. I mastered many skills for example, handling and serving alcohol, exchanging payments by cash and card. When I joined the Downs it hadn't opened yet so I helped setting up the bar and the restaurant, bringing in all the stock, lifting kegs and bottles for the bar.
