I have been teaching for 27 years in three different schools. I have been a school leader for SEN, among other things, for 20 years. I am currently on the SENCO NPQ course. I am a Level 3 Forest School practitioner and I developed and ran the Forest school on our school site for all children from Nursery to year 6.

I have developed positive relationships with other staff, the pupils and a wide range of outside agency representatives. I am an avid reader, I enjoy watching sport (especially rugby) and I do cross stitch for relaxation. I have excellent people skills and pride myself on never missing a deadline.

The Inclusion role included SENCo, Pupil Premium lead, behaviour lead and EAL lead. I have also set up and run the Forest school on site. I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Dyslexia and Literacy and have worked with both adults and children on English and maths skills.

• Key member of the Senior Leadership Team contributing to the decision making process for issues relating to pupils with additional needs

• Management of the Inclusion team consisting of a team of LSAs that deliver structured intervention for learning, social skills and emotional wellbeing. This includes monitoring LSAs 1-1 progress with pupils and explaining to pupils the objectives of any interventions.
• Responsible for the day to day operation of provision made by the school for pupils on the SEN and disadvantaged lists including decisions about when to consult with others including outside agencies.
• Chairing annual reviews, case conferences and meetings with parents and/or outside agencies effectively
• Making decisions on provision and support based on analysis, understanding and interpretation of relevant data and information
