I am a disciplined and diligent student, starting my MSci Optometry studies in September at the University of Manchester. I work well in team settings; I'm a quick learner and a versatile worker – as is evident from my prior contrasting job roles. I would further describe myself as hard-working, resourceful and efficient. I am also outgoing and enjoy interacting with customers, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable upon entering the establishment.

• Checked in patients on the company systems, verifying that patient information was correct whilst maintaining a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.
• Performed diagnostic tests such as OCT scans and visual field testing on patients, helping them feel comfortable in unfamiliar environments, especially with children during autorefraction.
• Restocked and organised shelves as well as storage cupboards to maintain a well-stocked store.
• Helped patients with fixing screws and nose pads on glasses frames, and adjusted the fit of glasses, ensuring the glasses sat comfortably on the patient.

Counter Assistant at Dragon House (2024-07 – 2025-01)

• Took orders in person and over the phone, carefully listening to dietary requirements or specific requests for their order and communicating these with kitchen staff.
• Handled cash and card payments accurately, ensuring transactions were processed smoothly.
