Responsibilities
- Input into RFI responses for Telecommunication related and RAN Inventory and service management
- Create Demonstration scripts and Story books. Give demos on Datacentre infrastructure management solution including Space, Power, Cooling and Network Discovery and Monitoring solutions including NAGIOS
- Working with Technical Architects to develop high level solution for cloud-based solutions
- Integration with Authentication Protocols, LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth2, SAML, RADIUS
- Gather data for POC and input into systems including ETL layers
- Configure API to demonstrate Integrations
- Provide consultancy on best practice and Industry Standards
- Model Physical, Virtual and Logical assets
- Manage the project delivery to Customer (Customer facing project Management)
Achievements
- Adopt a highly consultative solution style of selling, swiftly building trust and engagement with clients, responding to RFP’s/Tenders, pitching and winning new business. Be the first point of contact for customers acting as a vital conduit between all stakeholders
- Converted a £1.5M opportunity into a secured order from Vodafone. Collaborated with TATA to design a solution and undertake POC of the resolution, replace legacy telecommunications systems and introduce new technology for 5G RAN. It also included customer services as well as Virtual resources management, VNF and vRAN.
- Implemented a Network Inventory System for Colt’s telco networks and the replacement of XNG. Value >£450k.
- Engaged with PGE on being selected for paid POC (POC value £80,000, final project value > £800,000
- Engaged with Nokia on an FTTx solution for a Scottish government client. Demo solution based on FNT Command SaaS and Esri GIS Final project value believed to be > $250,000 for the first phase
- Managed delivery of virtualisation solution for Vodafone Germany end-user services
- Managed delivery of Configuration Management database (CMDB) for telco Networks
