Kash Ajam

My name is Kashiefa Ajam, a journalist, writer, and storyteller from South Africa, now settled in Gateshead, Newcastle upon Tyne.

I have over 20 years of solid experience as a reporter, editor and manager and although I am passionate about journalism and crafting compelling narratives, I am adaptable and comfortable in diverse positions.

Beyond journalism, I am also interested in exploring new skills in fields like retail or administration, embracing fresh challenges, and meeting new people.

I am eager to apply my expertise in communication, problem-solving, and audience engagement to create an exceptional customer or reader experience.
