I have a background in logistics, and both business and operational support across sectors. My most recent experience has been in construction. I'm now looking for a permanent position, within a company I can grow with.
I have an interest in company culture, well being and mental health. I like to understand how businesses operate from the ground up, to see where any opportunities to offer advice on improvements may be suggested. I like to bring out the best in whomever I'm working with, offering support, and mentorship.
Strong budget management skills, programming and leadership skills, I leave no stone unturned and have a meticulous attention to detail.
In an ideal world, I'd like my next role to be a hybrid one, that offers more of a work / life balance.
Currently temping, having completed a consultancy role for Next Plc. I project managed a studio relocation for their creative operations. A warehouse in Leighton Buzzard was to be their new photographic space.
I moved a team of over 50 creatives, to a 4,500 sqm space. Working in conjunction with the project management team overseeing the design and build of a mezzanine installation, I oversaw the budget, and put a programme of works together, setting agendas for Grade 1 studio managers in order to meet the deadline. Which I did.
Before Diamond Build PLC went into liquidation, I worked as a Resident Liaison Officer. I was the main point of contact for 160 social housing properties in Wandsworth. I ran progress meetings with all invested parties whilst construction on two 20 floor buildings were having refurbishments. I trained to become a site manager, during this time. Within a year I was running my own project.
Working for The Berkley Group as a document controller, and supporting senior site and project managers as a team assistant, and office manager. This was a temporary contract after the design and build company I worked for previously went into liquidation during Covid.
I worked as an EA to the founder of a design and build company - Create Bespoke Beauty. A residential project management company, that specialised in bespoke joinery. I was the main point of contact for high net worth clientele, collaborating on creative changes, focussing on achieving a high end finish.
I managed the finishing schedules for multiple projects, ensuring all elements were on site as per the schedule of works. I acted as a workplace manager / HR manager / culture and well being manager and dealt with building management. I was referred to as the studio mother, setting up team building experiences that resulted in a more fluid way of operating.
I assisted on pre and post work photo shoots, as art director. I handled all business and personal administration for the founder / director.
I started off as a weekend food market manager, running one farmer's market for the founder. Within 6 months, I ran 3 markets logistics during the week, and then oversaw the events at the weekend. Within 3 years we'd set up 2 more, that are still running today.
Market is one of London's most visited food and beverage events. I sourced traders, dealt with external investors and stakeholders. Ensuring health and safety, and all food hygiene and public liability insurance was in place. I marketed the events heavily through both physical promotion and an active online presence was ensured. I dealt with all the accounts, book keeping and finances.
