For as long as I can remmeber, I have loved helping people. I have relevant experiance in the field as have worked with a child with autism and have helped care for my Grandmother whilst she was recieving end of life care. I found these times incredibly rewarding as I am a highly empathetic, understaning and non judgemnental person.
I would like to be a social worker so I can apply my skills as a communicator. I studied Health and Social care in education and I love learning about others and helping others find ways to overcome challenges in their lives, so a career in social work is something I feel a calling for.
I have worked in the hospitality sector for five years as front of house receptionist in a 4* star hotel in Salisbury. I enjoyed many years engaging with people from all walks of life, different ages and genders. I demonstrated a high level of patience and compassion and most importantly communication. I have worked alongside a child with Autism and a little girl with Down Syndrome in their houses to give their parents some rest bite.
I attended Leehurst Swan school where I gained 11 GCSE qualifications A*-C, including Maths, English and Science.
Further on I studied Health and Social Care, English Language and Psychology at Sixth Form.
