I am a dedicated young professional, with an extended academic record, who has a passion to learn further.
I am passionate about working with animals and would love to progress in a career where I can be around them and help them in anyway.
STORE ASSISTANT, ALDI UK For over 2 years I was committed worker at Aldi. Here I had many responsibilities assigned to me. Some of these included the management of stock rotation, operating the tills and preserving the standards of the workplace.
Here I learned a lot about customer service. I learnt this by greeting and assisting customers and responding to any customer requests or complaints. I made sure to always do this in a positive manner to ensure the customer has a satisfied experience.
As time went on, it was evident that managers started to trust me in my decisions and problem solving. This was shown to me as I started to acquire more responsibilities, and eventually, manage specific sections of the store.
SENIOR HOST, CHESSINGTON WORLD OF ADVENTURES RESORT For 1 year I worked at Chessington World of Adventures Resort as a front of house host. More specifically, I was working in a restaurant where I would be greeting customers and helping with any orders or requests that they may have. After a year in this role, I was promoted to a senior host in the same restaurant.
This granted me with more responsibilities, allowing me to take a step further into the decision making of the workplace. Here I was able to manage a team of workers to maintain high levels of productivity, efficiency and morale.
WAITRESS, CHEAM PARK CAFE.
After completing my GCSEs, I worked as a part-time waitress for Cheam Park Café. My main responsibilities included maintaining the cleanliness of the environment and to keep provide a good level of customer service. As my first job, I learnt how to be punctual, confident and to always keep a positive attitude in the workplace.
DOG WALKING/SITTING For a year I worked as a part time dog Walker. Here I ensured the dogs physical safety at all times. I also followed any special requests that the dog owner had , such as interacting with other dogs and keeping them on their leash If need be. I provided the dogs with food and water given by the dogs owner. I ensured that any waste on the road was cleaned immediately.
As well as dog walking, I also helped multiple families by dog sitting while they were away. They trusted me to ensure the safety and well being of their dogs. I had many responsibilities whilst taking care of the dogs such as providing them with food and water, walking them twice a day and grooming them when necessary.
I wish to continue my career around animals as I throughly enjoy being around them.
