I am a qualified Paediatric Nurse with over six years of extensive experience in medical settings, including both general paediatrics and emergency medicine. After building a solid foundation in general paediatrics, I decided to specialise in paediatric emergency medicine for three years, further enhancing my clinical and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments. My NHS career began prior to my qualification in September 2019, working as a Healthcare Assistant in community hospital settings at both Ludlow and Bishops Castle Hospitals, which provided me with invaluable early exposure to patient care as well as providing with a good knowledge of adult medicine.
I am a passionate and dedicated individual and nurse committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. I have excellent communication skills that enable me to build effective relationships with patients, families, and carers, as well as work efficiently within multidisciplinary teams. I possess a broad range of nursing skills including cannulation training; medication administration (oral and intravenously); as well as many others.
I have vast clinical experience, which gives me the confidence to work independently while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for those in my care.
