Prior to starting Mikkel Projects I managed multiple businesses before availing myself as a freelance project manager. With the freedom of a freelance role and the knowledge of business structures I started my business, Mikkel Projects ,following the 2010 World Cup where I was employed as a project manager to manage the branding installations and activations of the stadiums.
I set the company up to provide project management services to the event , film and stills production industries. Over the years we managed to procure and secure agreements with blue-chip companies to manage events, productions, logistics and brand activations along with project management solutions across these two industries. These services include warehousing and transport solutions and most recently project management solutions across digital marketing platforms.
Our business remains small but targeted and our staff and product resources are of the highest level. Our solutions continue to reach across industries as the need for project and logistics support grows, with recent projects in property development completed.
I am a problem solver by nature have extensive business management experience across a sector of industries and over the last 10 years I’ve channeled my experience and expertise into my own business.
I’m a strong communicator, with extensive experience working alongside clients and stakeholder management, to both procure new business and manage existing relationships. Having sold a majority shareholding in my business I’m now looking to new challenges. A role in account management, sales or business management would be most suitable.
