Final year Astrophysics PhD student transferring from academia to industry through a 13 week intensive full stack software engineering bootcamp.
I’m looking for help in breaking into the tech industry and wish to collaborate with mentors and people making the same change to industry.
Currently I am working on a 2D platformer and a recipe keeping API as side projects. (collaborators welcome).
Currently attending an end-to-end structured training programme over 13 weeks, learning Back-end and Front-end software development skills to become a Full Stack Software Engineer. Languages included: Java, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. Frameworks included: Spring, React.
Writing up my thesis for a PhD in Astrophysics at Queen Mary University of London. The research and publications have been focused on simulations of protoplanetary discs using FARGO3D hydrocode (written in C).
