I gained a lot of experience in health care assistant when taking care of my old grandfather changing his beddings, washing him, massaging him, feeding him and having fun moments with him mainly story telling.

• Coordinating a team of home-based care givers for the sick and elderly in ensuring that they are feeding well, changing clothing and ensuring adherence to drugs by taking medication at the right time and the right dosage.
• Preparing meals in a manner that meet the special needs for different patients.
• Partnering with the ministry of health and other partners to ensure holistic health support is offered to the sick and the elderly. This involves ensuring that medication, education and counselling is offered to the sick and elderly with an aim of preventing new infections, re- infections and ensuring adherence to drugs through partnering with care hospitals in hospitals.
• Forming support groups for People living with HIV and AIDS that meet weekly for psycho social support sessions. A support group is a platform where people share the challenges they face in life and health care so that they can get support from others.
• Capacity building guardians of Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and other key stake holders in child protection and building child protection systems.
• Provide on-going feedback on performance and guidance on work plan implementation; financial resources management and supervision of the Finance team. Identify new approaches and measures to further enhance delivery capacities, professional management and cost effectiveness.
