Kumbirai Nhongo

Kumbirai is a humanitarian and development professional with over two decades of experience delivering policy-relevant analysis and evidence-driven programming across different contexts in Africa and Asia. He has led and supported multi-sectoral research, assessments, and learning initiatives with Welthungerhilfe in Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, including work with Rohingya refugees and host communities. Regionally, with the Southern African Research and Documentation Centre (SARDC), he contributed to multi-country research and evaluation initiatives across 16 SADC states, strengthening analytical frameworks, institutional collaboration, and knowledge generation.

He holds a Master’s degree in Governance and Leadership, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
