I am a First Year student at Sheffield Hallam University in September, looking for part time work to support my Primary Education degree. I have experience working with the general public and I am always willing to learn. I look forward to being considered for this job opportunity.

Level 7 FA Referee - Cheshire FA

I have been a qualified referee since I completed my course back in Feb 2022. I officiate youth football from ages 9 to 18. This has given me great people and communication skills, having to manage heated and confrontational situations and ensure it doesn't get out of control. I also feel I have gained good experience working with a range of people, as I interact and communicate with parents and coaches as an essential part of my job.

Bar Staff - Oasis Concerts - Heaton Park

I worked on various dates at Oasis concerts in Heaton Park in Summer last year. As part of this role I would be serving various drinks such as pints of lager and cider to customers consistently throughout the evening. This has given me lots of experience in working in a fast paced environments and also customer service skills when serving thousands of different customers.

I completed a week placement at my primary school with a reception class to get a feel for the role and responsibilities of a primary school teacher, which I aspire to be.

• Working with the children in subjects such as maths
• Helping in terms of tidying up the classroom at the end of the day
• Wiping all the surfaces and making sure it is in good condition for the next morning

I also completed another week of placement at my local primary school where I carried out similar activities, helping the children out with their work. I also gained more confidence in leading the children at breaktime and lunchtime in a series of games and activities.
