I am an experienced service and UX designer with a background in digital service design and brand strategy. With a user-centered, systems-thinking approach, I excel in streamlining complex processes and aligning user journeys with business goals. Over my career, I have led design initiatives at organizations such as Rightmove PLC, Methods Business and Digital, West Northamptonshire Council, and LGSS Digital.
My expertise includes creating service blueprints, prototyping, and facilitating stakeholder workshops to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
I have worked on a variety of projects, from designing self-service portals to enhancing local government websites, always with a focus on accessibility, usability, and clear communication. My experience spans multiple sectors, including local government, real estate, and digital services, and I am passionate about creating intuitive, scalable solutions that improve both customer and business outcomes.
In addition to my design work, I bring strong collaboration and mentoring skills, having trained and supported junior designers and cross-functional teams. I am always looking for opportunities to use digital design to enhance services, particularly in sectors like elder care, where technology can improve safety and quality of life.
I hold a Master of Arts in Management from the University of Northampton, where I specialized in Business Administration, Marketing, and Finance. This educational background has provided me with strong strategic and analytical skills, which complement my design expertise and support my ability to align service design solutions with business goals.
I also hold a Bachelor of Education in Arts from Kenyatta University in Nairobi, Kenya. This degree, with a focus on Fine Art, Instructional Methods, and Educational Psychology, has nurtured my creativity and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly—skills that have been invaluable in my design work.
