I would describe myself as a dedicated and conscientious person who is hard working and professional at all times. I am a very caring and sympathetic person with a lot of time and patience for other people which I feel is a very important quality to have. I have recently completed a Batchelor of science undergraduate degree at Abertay university prior to this i had completed a high national diploma at Dundee and angus college which allowed to progress on to second years at university therefore studied nursing for a total of 3.5 years. I tend to work well on my own and as part of a team which I feel is important for a positive working environment. I am a well organized and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and time keeping skills. As a trustworthy and reliable individual, I am confident, friendly and outgoing and I feel that I have the qualities that any role would benefit from. In my spare time, my main interests include keeping fit, walking, spending time at the gym, music, fashion, Traveling, trying new foods and spending quality time with family and friends
Duties included assessing and planning nursing care requirements, providing a person centred approach, building therapeutic relationships reassuring, and listening to patients. Administering medication, agreeing and reviewing care plans and monitoring progress. Providing advice and arranging support for patients Documenting patient process, liaising with doctors, social workers on patient care. Carrying out a physical and mental health assessment. Providing advice around harm reduction and management of infections and other adverse effects relating to poor injecting practice. Other duties included managing clinics dispensing buprenorphine (buvidal), sub-cut injections, monitoring and reporting on effects of medicines.

I have worked in various wards throughout NHS Tayside such as surgical, medical and neuro wards, including labour suites, mental health wards acute, forensic and care of the elderly. I have gained experience in different specialities working as a health care support worker over the last Seven years and continue to work in different areas as a registered Mental Health
