About

Registered Social Worker (Social Work England) with a First Class Honours Degree in Social Work and a practice background spanning children's services, adult social care, and criminal justice. My longest and most formative placement was within a Looked After Children team, and I have worked within a criminal justice setting for over a year, supporting individuals with offending behaviour, risk management, and reintegration — experience I am now looking to bring together within youth justice. Skilled in structured intervention delivery, risk assessment and management, safeguarding, court-related work, and multi-agency partnership working.

Trilingual in English, Swahili, and Somali, enabling culturally sensitive engagement with diverse young people, families, and communities. Committed to trauma-informed, relationship-based practice that supports young people to move away from offending and towards positive outcomes.
