When I left school at 16, I worked in construction as a bricklayer, earning a 100% score on my health and safety CSCS card. It challenged me to work physically and also mentally, ensuring the safety of myself and others. I have worked as a part time seasonal sales assistant for a local garden centre during their busy Christmas tree selling period, I enjoyed the fast paced nature of this role.
I have also worked part time as an event Marshall, taking responsibility for the health and safety of customers and providing a positive experience for customers. I have just recently completed my level one in carpentry, alongside my GCSE English and functional skills in maths. My personal strengths are that I am hardworking, polite and friendly, I enjoy going the extra mile and am able to use my initiative to work well independently.
I take pride in doing a good job and have a good attention to detail. I enjoy learning new things and challenging myself. I have access to my own transport.
