My role as a supervisor in Greggs includes making sure pastries are cooked to the right temperature and standard, sandwiches that are made need to be checked to make sure they have the right ingredients with the right allergen label due to Natasha's Law, ensuring everything that has been touched surface wise is double cleaned to ensure there is no cross contamination when dealing with food. But most importantly making sure that the customer gets the right product they came in for with the best customer service so they can leave happy and satisfied. As supervisor I had to tell one of my colleagues that they were not making a sandwich right and had forget to put a allergen label on the sandwich, I did this by telling them how important it is that we get the ingredients right with the right label because some customers may be allergic to some ingredients and if the ingredients are not shown they could end up in hospital due to an allergic reaction.
When one of my colleagues kept bringing out undercooked pastries out of the oven, I had to tell them how important it is we need to cook the pastries right and if they are unsure just to ask me because we work in a place of food where if it
