I have recently graduated from the University of Derby with a First-class Honours in Football Journalism. Content produced throughout my years in Derby covered the following areas: Writing, social media, videography, public relation, radio, podcasting and print design amongst others.
Alongside my studies, I completed various work placements. In my first year, I began writing for Prost International, and was eventually granted DataCo accreditation. During my second year, I started volunteering with Leek Town Ladies, running their social media channels, and Huddersfield Town, where I produced content for the academy team's.
I then embarked on a PR internship over the summer to develop my skills in that field. I have also branched into the world of videography, by capturing pitch-side content for Walsall FC.
Since leaving university, I have started volunteering at Barrow AFC as a media assistant, on top of commencing freelance work for Snack Media, where I am an EFL writer.
I am now looking for my next steps in the industry.
