I am naturally a people person when it comes to serving customers and always display an enthusiastic mindset towards work. I enjoy working in an establishment that fits my passions and interests, such as fashion and serving others. I am an upcoming student seeking the retail associate position at DV8.

Family Business Worker - Mains Castle Dundee-The Topped Tattie Dundee - Dundee

From 2023-2025 I would work at my family's business on certain weekends to help at events such as weddings but I had also worked 4 months at their potato shop. In this time I had gotten experience in many different aspects of hospitality. In the potato shop I would serve customers and handle cash and card payments, I also worked behind the scenes when times were quiet, I would make the potatoes to order and clean the kitchen as well as doing dishes.
When I worked during the wedding season, I served guests, reset the tables for the evening and worked in the kitchen, typically cleaning 600+ dishes a night. In this time I learned a lot about working with customers and how to present myself towards each and every situation that may occur and how to handle the pressure of difficult situations. I did have a hygiene and safety certificate as I was handling food but cannot provide this.
Peer Educator - Baldragon Academy - Dundee

During my time at school I had dedicated 100 hours to Peer Educations, which entailed visiting upcoming S1 pupils and prepping them for the high school transition, I had learned so much about team work during these sessions and showing kindness and empathy towards others and always making the pupils smile and laugh at the end of each session.
