After having served 13 years in the British Army I have decided to pursue a new career in Health and Safety. I have completed my NEBOSH General Certificate in occupational Health and Safety and Fire Safety qualifications.
I am due to embark on further courses to help expand my knowledge in this sector by completing IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH Environmental Management and Lead Auditor ISO45001 courses in the coming months.
A well rounded, disciplined and organized individual with a keen sense to learn new skills and processes and I always aim to use these skills where possible.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and a quick learner, calm under pressure and aiming towards a deadline.
After having completed over ten years with the British Army and due to the line of work I had undertaken this has made me a proficient individual in the management of health, safety and risk on a daily basis for not only myself but for those around me and of those I have been in command of and helping to keep them safe and moving on in the future to be the best soldiers they can be.
I have completed Maths, English, ICT all at Level 2. A Level 3 in Telecommunications, Leadership and Management, NEBOSH General Certificate and NEBOSH Fire Safety with further courses still to come.
