Home Care Worker at D&B Care Ltd (2024-09 – Present)

My role as night staff in home care involves providing support and assistance to individuals in their own homes during the night. This includes helping with personal care, administering medication, monitoring their well-being, and responding to any emergencies. It requires being attentive, patient, and capable of working independently to ensure the client's comfort and safety throughout the night.

Cashier/Sales Assistant at Iceland Foods (2022-12 – 2024-06)

My role as a cashier at Iceland involves scanning groceries, handling payments, and providing customer service. I learnt to be quick and accurate with transactions, deal with customer inquiries and complaints, and ensure the checkout area is tidy.

• Trained to do the online picking which involves using a handheld device to locate and collect items from the shelves to fulfill online orders. Ensuring the customers orders are in good condition, and meeting delivery deadlines.
• Shelf stocking, making sure all the store items are faced up/full an empty boxes removed so it was all tidy for our customers.

Staff Member at Mr Nitro's (2022-05 – 2022-08)

My role as a staff member at Mr Nitros consisted of making sure the store was cleaned to the highest of standards. Whilst working at Mr Nitros, I learned to make deserts to the best of my ability in order to ensure customer satisfaction. I also ensured that my day to day task was completed to the highest standards possible which included keeping the store up and running perfectly.

I enjoyed my time in this role as it gave me a lot of opportunities to test my self in a busy environment whilst staying professional and making sure everything such as food hygiene and safety around all machines was kept in place.

My job role here consisted of food prep in accordance to how busy the day is likely to be, restocking items in the kitchen for the chefs and general cleaning to a high standard. Within this role I had to ensure that my day to day tasks were always completed to the highest level possible. In some situations I had to use initiative in order to get past possible obstacles, for example there was a time where there wasn't a manager immediately to hand and a customer had a complaint about their food.

I dealt with the situation by asking them what was wrong with the food and reporting back to the chef, in which a replacement meal was made and the customer was satisfied.
