Like previous role, day includes customer service, complaints handling, and troubleshooting, alongside carefully dispensing over 400 prescriptions daily. This requires high levels of detail and concentration. This is a temporary contract, which is why looking for something permanent.

Days include a high level of concentration and organisation to ensure everything runs smoothly in the branch. With 100's of prescriptions coming through to us daily it is very important that am punctual, organised and efficient. Have gained dispensary assistant course along with counter assistant course so alongside dispensing, days also include greeting and serving patients, filing prescriptions quickly but carefully, and ensuring the shop floor is clean, tidy and hazard free.
Attached to a gp surgery so it is very busy at times, this allows us to liaise with the surgery staff so experienced with working with other practitioners. Days include lots of general admin, such as filing away prescriptions, updating patient records, updating medicine dates on our system, and inputting fire safety records. Am very customer-focused and able to speak to customers with empathy and understanding.
Have experience in complaint handling, meaning can stay calm and professional in a sometimes pressured environment, am used to working with a high work load and Even though predominantly work as a team with colleagues, am also able to handle own work load independently.

Started at Costa coffee as a barista in training in may 2021 which included welcoming customers, working tills, and general house keeping on the shop floor. In March 2022 was promoted to barista maestro (team leader) was barista maestro for just over 1 year. Roles included key holding, cashing up the tills at the end of the day, coaching and leading team to be the best they can be, as well as making drinks to a high standard whilst keeping customers satisfied throughout their visit, complaint handling was also involved.
