I’m a senior People and Culture leader working with founders and leadership teams at points of growth and change. Much of my work is as a fractional Chief People Officer, helping organisations put the right people foundations in place as they scale, without losing what already works.
Alongside this, I coach founders and senior leaders, offering reflective, practical support grounded in real organisational experience.
I have over 20 years’ experience working in senior People and Culture roles, supporting founders, leadership teams and organisations through periods of growth and change. I began my career in in-house HR roles, including as Head of HR in a large advertising agency, before founding Fitzgerald in 2008 and growing it into an award-winning people consultancy of over 40 people.
Alongside building my own business, I’ve worked closely with a wide range of organisations as they’ve scaled — from around 70 employees into the hundreds — helping put the right people structures, leadership capability and ways of working in place to support sustainable growth. This has included organisation design, leadership expectations, learning and development, reward and benefits, and the transition from founder-led to leader-owned people practices.
Today, I work independently as a fractional People and Culture Partner and leadership coach. Much of my work sits at inflection points, where experienced judgment, practical people leadership and a coaching-led approach help organisations grow without losing trust, humanity or momentum.
My professional practice is underpinned by formal training in both people management and leadership development. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and am a Chartered Member of the CIPD. More recently, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Psychosynthesis Leadership Coaching at Middlesex University (2024–2025), which deepened my coaching-led approach to leadership and organisational work.
Together, these qualifications support my ability to combine strong people fundamentals with reflective, human-centred leadership practice.
