I am a poet and novelist looking for part time work to fit around my writing commitments. I have extensive experience in the hospitality and education sectors, with a wide range of skills to offer employers. I am currently working as a receptionist in a busy upmarket hotel in Bristol; before that I was an Academic Mentor at a secondary school in South London.
My core strengths are my administrative skills, command of written English, personal communication and ability to adapt to different work environments.
I have over a decade of work experience in a variety of different roles. Some of these have been administrative roles, some have been customer-facing, and I have also worked as a classroom teacher. My most recent positions have been as an Academic Mentor at a secondary school in South London, where I designed and implemented my own intervention timetable with students, and, currently, as a receptionist at a busy upmarket hotel in Bristol.
This position has built on my solid customer service and administrative skills and taught me how to thrive in customer-facing roles.
I have two degrees: a first class degree in French and English from UCL (I am a bilingual French/English speaker), and a Masters with distinction in Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London.
