I am a Reliable and hardworking operative with several years of hands-on experience across labouring, marina operations, retail, and grounds maintenance. Labouring (2016-11 – 2018-08)
Working for a number of different plastering companies, mixing and carrying etc also keeping the work space as tidy as possible and working well with customers and as a team.
Retail (2019-01 – 2021-06)
Worked part time in a retail position due to needing something with more relaxed hours to fit around going to college 4 days a week. This job had a variety of roles but i do credit it for my good people skills and clear communication
Operative at MHML (2021-06 – 2025-01)
Worked as an operative on maryport marina, harbour and caravan site doing a massive variety of jobs including manual labour, minor electrical work, driving the 25t and 40t boat hoists and personally lifting and chocking 100s of boats. This job required good communication as we worked with crane drivers quite a lot but also needed teamwork as you were also counting on the person next to you.

I worked as an operative at Tivoli, this required me to maintain landscapes, which included cutting grass, trimming grass, weeding and maintaining the public waste on the streets. I took a lot of pride in this job making sure the community looked tidy. Here I worked in a team, operating equipment such as grass trimmers, large motorized lawnmowers and leaf blowers.
Labouring (2025-10 – 2026-01)
I worked with a number of plasterers, mixing plaster, carrying buckets and equipment and maintaining the work area assuring it is kept clean. This job allowed me to work as a team and required good communication skills as well as team working and physical skills.
Operative at WHM (2026-02 – Present)
I currently work at Whitehaven Harbor side Marina as an operative, which included manual labour, slinging and signaling and operating the hoist and forklift. Within this job role I am required to have good communication skills, I work very well in a team and I am good at taking charge of situations.
