My role as a key account manager (USA) has been a fantastic opportunity where I got to really make the role my own. The position was a new role which I had the pleasure to help shape and develop while gaining strong account management experience as well as being heavily involved in the business development of the US and managing the marketing initiatives.
- Developing a trusted relationship with existing and new key customers and operating as the primary point of contact for key account stakeholders
- Negotiating large container/stock orders with customers
- Having regular review and planning meetings via teams and in person with key accounts and internal partners to encourage business growth within the US
- Processing customers purchase orders, new leads and providing quotations using our CRM system sales force
- Qualifying new leads and converting them to 'quote stage' this is achieved by understanding the customers' requirements as well as providing technical support ensuring the application/product is right for the customer
- Weekly catch-up meeting with the team in America and China to ensure all processes are being followed correctly to achieve the smoothest journey for the customer
- Managing and processing customer complaints, providing quick solutions for the customer whilst maintaining a minimal cost to the business
- Reviewing marketing trends
- Managing social media accounts for our partners in the US –providing quick responses to customers who reach out via Facebook
- Creating and sharing posts using Canva for our product/deals available
- Managed the development and implementation of the CRM (sales force) into the Sales team in the USA

- Processing customers purchase orders, new leads and providing quotations using our CRM system sales force
- Prepare and deliver sales quotations and if required facilitate the order placement process
- Implemented and managed the new business process for the UK which I was able to roll out to the wider team and use as a template for the European market
