I started my career in a professional nursery in 2006, where I started my training and qualified as a Support Worker in 2008. Once qualified, I worked for a year building my knowledge and skills of the job and I then progressed to train as a Practitioner in 2010, and I gained my qualification in Childcare in March 2011. In the 20 years that I have worked there, I have been lucky to gain experience in various departments as well as being involved in the running of those departments.
By working in those departments, I have gained knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence and Realising the Ambition. I am up to date with the new regulations for Childcare as I regularly attend training courses to ensure my knowledge is kept to a high standard.
