Work Experience
Big Ten Smoke & Grill - Ampthill
Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. ingredients or potential food allergies)
Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems
Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning
Merry Poppetts Nursery - Westoning
Encourage the children to enjoy learning about their environment through fun games and activities
Preparing exciting activities for the children using equipment and materials available
Helping the children with basic learning tools, such as recognising the alphabet or naming everyday objects
Ensuring the children are collected each day by their designated parents, relatives or carers
Making sure that classrooms and outside play areas are child-friendly and safe at all times
Making certain that all areas remain clean and hygienic at all times
Providing emotional support and encouragement to the children when needed
