I’m Manish Bhattarai, an MSc Civil Engineering student at the University of Wolverhampton. My focus is on structural design, geotechnics, and sustainable construction, with a dissertation on sustainable practices in railway infrastructure. I’m ambitious, resilient, and passionate about combining technical skills with sustainability and innovation.
Outside studies, I enjoy photography, travel, and creative expression, keeping a balance between professionalism and a friendly, approachable personality.
I have experience in civil engineering projects, covering structural analysis, geotechnical assessment, foundation design, and sustainable construction methods. I had worked on academic and practical projects such as hotel structural design, grain silo foundation checks, and financial management in construction.
In addition, I had gained hands-on leadership and customer service experience in hospitality and retail, building strong teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. I also had exposure to international work and study environments in the UK and Nepal, giving a global perspective in engineering practice.
