I am Mansi Pathak currently in the United Kingdom pursuing Bachelors in Biomedical Science, i am above to finish my last semester.

1.Team work experience through part time job and working in group for projects and during laboratory sessions.

• Laboratory skills:

1. Basic bench skills: Micro pipetting, aseptic technique, serial dilution
2. Confident user of laboratory equipment– including use of spectrophotometer, light microscope, gel electrophoresis, centrifugation.
3. Handled, processed and analysed a range of samples in the laboratory.

Key modules: Human Physiology from cells to system, drugs, receptors and response, Microbial world, enzyme and metabolism, Haematology and blood disorders, etc.

Final Year Project: To compare local market and supermarket sample of meat which is more resistant to antibiotics against E. coli using the disc diffusion method, susceptibility testing, and the CLSI standards for sensitive, intermediate, or resistant results. Based on this, Remel RapIDTM SS/u and other biochemical tests such as oxidase, catalyse, and gram staining, will be used. so basically, it’s a health-related project like which food is better for us. So one with high antibiotic is good and one with low antibiotic is not good.
