I have held various roles within three Local authorities, Including Senior social worker, Team Manager and lastly I have been an Independent Reviewing Officer for 16 years. Since June this year I have decided to become an Independent Social Worker. I am keen to become a Regulation 44 inspector as I have always been interested in the need to offer safe and good quality care to looked after young people. from the residential units units and to ensure that those children's voices are heard. In all of my role's the child's needs have been paramount, I have been an adoption and fostering Panel member previously and can also carry out Standard of care assessments, deal with complaints and Form F assessments
