Upon returning to Costa Coffee I realised that, having previous experience, there was a new dynamic to the team. I assessed the situation and started working within the team parameters with ease. I can now say that I am integrated within the team and use my instinct to identify any issues and support them with any task.

As a cash processor with Loomis there was no space for error. All money handled had to be processed both quickly and efficiently with no margain for error. This job gave me experience in working at a fast pace and also ensuring every action is accounted for and recorded correctly. It was a small team but with a lot of diversity which really benefited the work group dynamic and were always available should support be needed.

This job requires quick thinking and efficiency to get the task done in minimal time and of good quality. Interacting with people is my favourite part as I have built relationships with the public, as well as having a working 'family'. I have briefly had experience in the supervisor role when needed and I feel that this has opened new doors to me and given me a taster as to what it is like.

My sole role in this job was to promote the independence of East Lothian's vulnerable and disabled community. Team working was imperative when working as it is a team effort making sure their needs are met in a safe and supported environment. Service users often only needed one support practitioner so I learned a lot about working independently and using my intitive and thinking on my feet as well as continual risk assessments to ensure safety.

I have also as required prepared the premises for opening to the public in the morning and cleaned equipment in the premises at close of business.
