Master Chef Stand Assistant - Good Food Show
(2009-01 - 2009-01)
spent a week on the Master Chef stand at the Good Food Show, my job was to assist members of the public when they were doing the "Invention Test", as seen on the show. I had to help the contestants prepare a meal for the celebrity judges to sample and offer my opinion on what they should serve. This involved using my past general knowledge to influence others and remaining calm under the time restrictions under the pressure of cameras and life audiences, I felt that I thrived under the pressure of this experience and stepped up to the challenge of advising and teaching the contestants how to safely and confidently prepare good quality food from scratch.
Afterwards I would have to clear down the surface area then set it up for the next contestant including checking larder supplies and restocking them. I also got a invitation to work there for the 2010 and 2011 show.
