Current Master's student in Urban Planning at Columbia University, '24. I am an avid reader and a constantly curious researcher, interested particularly in issues of violence, capitalism, and imperialism in urban space. While my main region of interest is the Middle East, with a specialty in Egypt, I am also interested in other global processes and actors.
Several years of research experience as a student researcher (UCLA History department, 2 years), project assistant (Columbia Avery, 1 year), and research assistant (Columbia GSAPP, 1 year). Additional work in the nonprofit sector (International Rescue Committee, 1 year; student organizations, 5 years) and more.
