06/2024 to date: Founder at Human Action Ltd. and the Integrity mobile platform (Walton-on-Thames). Responsible for all aspects of starting a business, from business planning, to financial planning, software design, development management, testing, stakeholder engagement, investment acquisition, website development and marketing. The platform improves local business patronage, community participation and cohesion, local authority communication and civic engagement.
01/2023 to 06/2024: Digital Transformation Project Manager at Cygnet Group (Westminster). I led a greenfield project where the Allocate Optima suite was implemented to digitise workforce management of 15,000 health care, social care and ancillary staff across 160 facilities. This included bespoke integrations with existing HRIS, reporting, LMS and payroll systems.
I line-managed a team of 5 Implementation Officers and 1 Project Admin. The entire project team consisted of 20-30 internal and 5 external members.
I also led a 2 phase programme installing CCTV systems internally and externally to improve staff and service user safety in 70 facilities. Around 3000 cameras were installed by 3 contractors over 2 years.
I used a mixture of agile and waterfall methodology, based on Prince2 principles, for these projects and had to lead the development of policies and SOPs (BPMN 2.0), integration design, amongst a host of other aspects that usually fall outside the scope of a conventional project manager.
01/2021 to 01/2023: Operations Analyst at Cygnet Group (Westminster). I began the management of the surveillance upgrade project while in this role. In addition, I performed Business Analyst tasks such as scoping out the requirements (functional and non-functional) for care management, compliance, QMS, facilities management, and workforce management systems.
I captured existing and “to-be” processes in BPMN 2.0 notation and created complimentary SOPs. Lastly, I preformed Operations Analyst tasks such as developing models which utilised operational and financial data and determined the performance of health and social care facilities (KPIs).
Prior to this, I worked as Project Manager at Gamma Systems managing the installation of LV electrical and security systems in residential and commercial properties in London (2019 to 2020). And I worked as a Student Employee at i@Consulting who provided Infrastructure Asset Management services and software to the public sector in South Africa.
I am currently enrolled in Y Combinator's StartUp School program and plan to attain APM PMF and PMQ qualifications in 2025 to bolster my project management competency.
