15 years in retail for Tesco (and briefly Morrisons), most of which spent as a manager gave me a great foundation to move into the HR function as my second career. In less than 5 years with my current company I've moved through the HR ranks from HR Administrator - Officer - Advisor - Manager - Group HR Manager and now lead the function for over 400 employees.
I have a BA Hons in Education Studies from the University of Plymouth but my most relevant qualification is the Level 5 Diploma in People Management, gaining my Associate Membership of the CIPD
