Mark O'Neill

I am a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Engineer. I have 20yrs of top level global GT racing experience at Manufacture OEM level. And 7yrs experience of prototype and production automotive testing and development for Major OEM's and automotive engineering companies.

Working in both the motorsport and production automotive industries has enabled me to work simultaneously with concept/design teams, engineering and development teams, all the way through to dealers and suppliers and finally with end users and high net worth customer bases.

I have exceptional customer relation and presentation skills, as well as vast experience in team management, training and motivation.

In previous rolls I have presented reports and proposals at OEM Directors and Shareholders, SMT and Customer sales levels.

In Automotive test I have previously held national and international Proving ground licences, and have extensive experience of high speed circuit driving and test facility dynamic testing. Both for mainstream automotive production and limited number special vehicles and One off commissions.

Out side of my profession I enjoy active pursuits including, Cycling, Cricket and Rugby. I have a very active lifestyle with my family and enjoy spending time outdoors wherever possible.

I am currently working as a free lance race engineer for various teams in a national One make championships and international endurance events.

Previous to this I was Customer support Engineer for RML Group based in Wellingborough. (2yrs)

Prior to this I was Technical Customer support for Porsche Motorsport GB (total of 5yrs) whilst also contracting at Aston Martin working in Test and Verification department and Protype build and commission.(total of 5yrs)

Previous to this I held various rolls at Team Parker Racing (total 8yrs)

Level 4 Diploma in automotive vehicle diagnosis and Fault.

Level 4 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Level 3 NVQ in vehicle maintenance and repair.

5 Gcse grade A - C.
