As a graduate of the Principles of Responsible Banking Academy Certificate of Completion, I am well-versed in the Paris Climate Agreement and the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals, which call for the commitment of banks and other pertinent financial institutions together with their shareholders and stakeholder to create a greener economy by supporting companies that emit low amounts of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. This will help keep global warming to less than 2 degrees Celsius and aim to keep it to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.
