Martin Cooper

I am currently a maintenance administrator. I help look after 900 sites across the UK to ensure they have all maintenance needs. I am also starting to self teach game development and have started building my first game on Gdevelop. I want to break into the tech industry to help expand my knowledge.

I started working as a caretaker/groundskeeper at the age of 16 and continued with this work part time whilst working in IT.

I worked as an apprentice IT engineer for 2 years from the age of 16-18 and then became a 2nd line engineer for Bates Group. We looked after several hospital sites in Hertfordshire and I worked with them for a further 2 years.

Near the end of the 2 years with Bates group I worked part time at a bar. This line of work took my interest due to the social interactions and the ability to function well as a team. I worked in bars for 2 years where I quickly became part of a management team until I moved to J D Wetherspoon head office as a maintenance administrator.

I have an MTA certification in IT support, Networking and cloud databases.

I also have my GCE Maths, English, IT and Science along with other subjects.
