Mathilde Cushing

I am a university student who is highly motivated and has a positive attitude when working and co-operating with others. I am passionate about foreign languages and music and excel in French and Spanish. I am very organised and can adapt to any situation whether ambiguous or not.

Between 2018 and 2022 I catered for cyclocross events in Colchester where I served and prepared food that clients would order from the menu. I also volunteered to work with a refugee group in Colchester where I helped refugee children weekly with their homework to help improve their English skills. Furthermore, I have had experience working abroad as a Bakery cashier where I assisted the customers’ purchases and helped keep the bakery cleans and organised.

I have three A levels in French, Spanish and Pyschology which I studied in the Colchester Sixth Form and College.

In French I achieved an A* as well as an A in Spanish and Psychology.

Psychology has helped me understand people on a social level and has improved my communacative skills.

I am now studying at the Univeristy of Sheffield where I am doing a Modern Foreign Languages and Culuttes Degree.
