UK Operations Manager - Venneir UK

UK Operations Manager for a specialist dental manufacturing business with annual turnover of approximately £3.5m. Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the main laboratory and a separate warehouse facility, covering production, customer service, fulfilment and distribution.

• Managed day-to-day operations across a 20-person dental laboratory, including production, dental reception, stoning, printing and 3D printing functions.
• Oversaw a separate warehouse operation approximately six miles from the main site, with responsibility for two employees and the dispatch of mould kits and customer orders.
• Worked across the operation to maintain production, quality, customer service and fulfilment standards.
• Supported the business in managing the operational requirements of a growing specialist manufacturing environment.

Operations Manager - Amazon UK, Dunfermline - Dunfermline

• Site Delivery Estimate Arrival (DEA) Champion and Regional Operations Lead, leading weekly calls and providing the region with performance updates and improvement opportunities. Delivered Q1 and Q2 2026 performance to plan, achieving a 3% year-on-year improvement.
• Increased outbound pack productivity by 3.2% in 2025 by identifying and resolving an issue with magnets becoming trapped on metal chutes. Implemented metal plates across 60 workstations, preventing operational disruption by detecting magnets and delivering an estimated £130K annual cost saving, comprising £60K reduced overtime, £30K reduced operational waste and £40K through headcount optimisation and capacity transferred to Vendor Returns.
• Improved new-hire inbound stow quality by 12% in 2025 by introducing a dedicated instructor for each new hire throughout their four-week learning curve. The initiative improved training consistency, reduced new-hire defects and delivered an estimated £12K annual cost saving per new hire, inclusive of the additional instructor cost.
• Site lead on utilisation of AI, working with all levels of management to encourage use of AI within their roles.
