I have been a freelance language services provider since 2013 (translation, editing, revision, proofreading and transcreation), working from French and Spanish into English. I specialise in financial, legal, government, marketing and communications texts in particular, but also work in other fields. I have also been working in stakeholder engagement since 2017, where I have facilitated and scribed stakeholder events and have summarised feedback in reports for utilities companies and housing developers.
In my work, I am passionate about providing accurate and accessible texts and ensuring communication between different groups.
I have worked as a freelance language services provider since July 2013 and have worked with both translation agencies and direct clients, including UNHCR and the WTO. During my studies, I also did a translation internship at the Council of Europe. I have worked in stakeholder engagement since February 2017.
The services that I have provided include scribing stakeholder feedback, facilitating discussion workshops and producing reports summarising feedback. This work has mainly been for utilities companies, but some has been for housing developers.
I hold a Master of Arts in Translation and Professional Language Skills with Merit from the University of Bath and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours (2:1) in Modern Languages and Cultures from Durham University.
