Louise Tuck

I am a former UK civil servant with a background in policy and report writing. Alongside my professional career, I have always been a writer and reader, with a particular interest in literature and storytelling.

I have experience tutoring A level English Literature, helping students analyse texts, structure arguments, and improve their written expression. I also won an international writing competition when I was younger.

I particularly enjoy working with authors to improve clarity, narrative flow, and structure, and I bring a careful, thoughtful approach to reviewing manuscripts and providing constructive feedback.

In additional to winning an international writing contest, I have 20 years’ experience of technical writing and proofreading.

I am Level 5 Effective Coaching and Mentoring qualified, which adds to my supporting and constructive style in editing.
