I have just completed 2 years as an A ‘Level student spending most my spare time being involved with rugby where I played both codes to a high standard.
Over the last 12 months I have also worked as a support worker for a young person with a learning disability enabling them to access days out in the community.
I enjoy being part of a team, I am good communicator and enjoy problem solving.
I have an active lifestyle which includes gym sessions and rugby training sessions. This means I am physically fit so can undertake duties requiring strength and stamina such as moving stock and being on my feet for long periods.
I enjoy playing online games which requires quick thinking and problem solving skills, and also an ability to get on with and be able to organise team mates.
I am a team player, reliable, punctual and motivated and have good communication skills. This has developed through involvement with beavers, cubs and scouts which involved working with others to successfully and safely put up tents, build campfires and prepare food. These same skills are also required in my commitment to rugby where time management skills and supporting and encouraging others to get the best out of the team is important, this has been reflected in the awards I have received from opposition coaches, fellow team mates and my own coaches.
These same skills are also a necessity in the paid work I have been undertaking ensuring the person I am supporting understands where we are going, what we are doing and how and when we are getting there.
