Matthew Walters

I have a masters degree in data science and a bachelor's degree in computer science. I am looking to break into data analytics/ science to go into a role that more suits my character and degree.

I have a years experience being an applications developer where I was a full stack web developer for a universities in house accommodation portal. I did most of the development in PHP. I also ran oracle reports and used Oracle SQL to query information about the latest intakes of students to answer the higher ups questions.

I am for the last year and ongoing been working as an automations developer using mainly blue prism for developing robotic process automations. I have worked in an agile way ustilising scrum and using the Microsoft Azure platform to carry out and document everything.

I have masters degree (MSc) in data science which I attained from Swansea University where I learned statistics, data visualisation, strengthened my coding skills in python in particular. Learned data mining, optimisation and machine learning techniques. I also have a BSc in computer science.
